South Pasadena : Construction Ban Extended

The city’s moratorium on residential and commercial construction has been extended to give planning officials extra time to draw up design review guidelines.
In a 5-0 vote, the City Council last week approved an urgency ordinance that extends the across-the-board building moratorium for 45 days. However, the council made two exceptions to the moratorium, exempting construction on the interior of buildings and projects already submitted to planning officials for review.
The moratorium was enacted nearly a year ago.
