Re Charles Champlin’s April 25 article on the new Directors Guild building: An incorrect impression was given about the design of the project.
The principal of Rochlin Baran & Balbona Architects in charge of the project was Ephraim Baran, AIA, and the design of the project, from conceptual sketches to the finished product, was the responsibility of Philo Jacobson, AIA, director of design. Deneys Purcell was the project architect charged with the construction and coordination between the client and contractors.
