Pico Rivera : Street Renovation to Begin

A major renovation of Paramount Boulevard is to begin this week from Slauson Avenue north to Whittier Boulevard. Pico Rivera officials say the work--to remove and replace pavement, resurface and stripe the street and install street markers--should take nine to 12 weeks. At least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction on the north-south street.
