Reporting from Las Vegas — Brace, kids. Your favorite Marvel super heroes are coming to Las Vegas.
“Marvel Universe LIVE!” will bring Spider-Man, Captain America and The Avengers, plus their villain counterparts, to the arena. The pack blasts into the Thomas & Mack Center Thursday, April 23, through Sunday, April 26.
The seven performances bring a whole new story to life with more than 25 Marvel icons.
The story follows the Cosmic Cube, a device that can turn any wish into reality and a plot device the villains of the Marvel Universe often want to get their hands on and the super heroes have to protect.
Thor, the founder of the Avengers, shattered it to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
Thor’s villainous brother Loki has other plans. Even though the pieces are scattered around the world, he’s developed a way to clone the Cosmic Cube’s powers. If he succeeds, he could destroy the earth.
Super heroes to the rescue.
Pyrotechnic blasts, special effects, performers flying through the air, racing motorcycles, martial arts and an enormous Hulk that will delight the audience all make appearances.
As Marvel likes to say, “The fate of the universe depends on it!”
Tickets start at $20.
Tickets: Thomas & Mack Center, (702) 739-FANS
