This is Roger, a 6-foot-7-inch red kangaroo who was rescued nine years ago. His mother was struck and killed by a car.

Thanks to Chris Barns, who created the Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs in Australia, this ‘roo and more than 200 others have a shot at life.
