OCTA to offer nonstop buses to OC Fair

Heading to the Orange County Fair from Huntington Beach or Irvine?
The Orange County Transportation Authority will be offering nonstop weekend bus service from those cities and seven other locations around the county once the fair starts Friday.
The OC Fair Express will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 14. Buses will run every 20 minutes from Huntington Beach’s Goldenwest Transportation Center, 7301 Center Ave., and every 40 minutes from Irvine’s Metrolink station, 15215 Barranca Pkwy.
Bus operating hours are noon to midnight Fridays and 10 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays.
The cost is $4 round trip, and riders will receive a coupon good for $3 admission to the fair, which is $9 off the regular price. Children 5 years and younger can ride free with a paying adult.
