USC recruiting: Trojans likely done pursuing offensive linemen for 2016 class
- Share via
Offensive linemen Frank Martin and Nathan Smith have committed to USC’s 2016 recruiting class and coaches are likely finished recruiting the position.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Martin attended several spring practices and committed in April.
He is from Santa Ana Mater Dei High.
Martin said he would not visit any colleges this summer. He will participate at the Opening in July at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore.
Smith, 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, is a tackle at Murrieta Mesa. He also announced his commitment to USC in April.
USC signed Chuma Edoga, Roy Hemsley and Cole Smith in the 2015 class. Clayton Johnston is a blue-shirt recruit and is expected to receive a scholarship in training camp that will count toward the 2016 class.
