NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock projected former USC receiver Nelson Agholor as a late second-round pick.
Agholor, 21, declared with a season of eligibility remaining.
“[He is] one of my favorite route runners in the draft,” Mayock said Monday during a teleconference with reporters.
Agholor, 6-feet-1 and 190 pounds, caught a team-best 104 passes and 12 touchdowns.
“He gets in and out of breaks and catches the football,” Mayock said.
Agholor was also a return specialist, which Mayock said would add to his value in the draft.
He returned 19 punts, two for touchdowns. “[He] makes you miss,” Mayock said.
Mayock listed Virginia’s Kevin White, Alabama’s Amari Cooper, Louisville’s DeVante Parker, Missouri’s Dorial Green-Beckham and Michigan’s Devin Funchess as the top five receiver prospects.
Agholor will participate in the NFL Combine this week in Indianapolis.
