Would LeBron James and Cleveland be the worst team to win an NBA title?
LeBron James is doing the seeming impossible: He is leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to an NBA title. Cleveland, without starters Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, have a 2-1 series lead over Golden State in the NBA Finals.
James scored 40 points in Tuesday's 96-91 win over the Warriors and is averaging 41 points per game in the finals. The Cavaliers are averaging 97 points per game, so James is scoring 42.3% of the Cavaliers' points.
Take look at the rest of the starting lineup: Timofey Mozgov, Tristan Thompson, Iman Shumpert, Matthew Dellavedova. Not exactly Byron Scott, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy and Kurt Rambis, is it?
So would this be the worst team to ever win an NBA title? Vote in our poll and let us know what you think.
