Update: This is the first meeting of 2016 between the Galaxy and the Eastern Conference’s leading team. Robbie Keane, second on the Galaxy with seven goals, is expected to return after sitting out their last game. However, goalkeeper Brian Rowe will miss the New York City match with a head injury after colliding with teammate Nigel de Jong in a 1-1 tie with the Colorado Rapids last Saturday. As of Friday, Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena had not decided whether Dan Kennedy or Clement Diop will start in place of Rowe. New York City’s 34-year-old star David Villa is tied for the MLS lead with 15 goals.
