Broncos’ Bolden, Chiefs’ Allen inactive for Thursday night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Broncos safety Omar Bolden and Chiefs offensive lineman Jeff Allen were among the inactives Thursday night for the showdown between AFC West contenders.
The absence of Bolden, who missed practice this week with a foot injury, not only hurts the Broncos on defense but also on special teams, where he is their No. 1 kick returner.
Allen was been dealing with a knee injury for the Chiefs.
Denver running back C.J. Anderson was available, even though he was listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Safety Darian Stewart was also active despite an ailing groin.
Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher was active despite ongoing trouble with a high ankle sprain sustained in training camp. Jah Reid has been working in his place.
