Softball: Lori Chandler steps down as El Camino Real coach
- Share via
Lori Chandler, the softball coach at El Camino Real for 15 years, has resigned as coach. She will be replaced by Jodi Borenstein, a former Chatsworth High and Cal State Northridge softball standout who has been an assistant coach since 2005.
Chandler guided the Conquistadores to two City Section championships and 13 league titles.
“It’s bittersweet,” Chandler said Monday before coaching in a final City vs. Valley all-star softball game at the Urban Youth Academy.
Chandler will continue as a teacher at El Camino Real.
