Schools going digital to get rid of paperwork for athletic participation
- Share via
Damien Athletic Director Jeff Grant said parents used to have to fill out 15 pages of paperwork before their child could play on a sports team.
Now mostly everything is done on a computer.
Damien is among a growing number of high schools that have transitioned to a digital online athletic clearance.
Imagine the paperwork nightmare clearing 700 students who have filled out 15 pages each from medical information to agreement on school policies. Now everything, from rosters to emergency cards, can be generated via a computer by schools.
It’s the wave of the future.
