Golf: Corona del Mar grad Amy Matsuoka wins Optimist International

Oregon-bound Amy Matsuoka, a Corona del Mar grad, won the 15-18 girls’ division of the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
She defeated Ana La Collado Diaz from Jalapa, Mexico in a playoff after both tied at 289.
Matsuoka shot a final round 69.
