Football: Who are the all-time best running backs in City Section history?

Ronnie Flores of CalHiSports.com decided to do something very difficult _ rank the best high school running backs in City Section history.

Considering there have been many great ones, it’s a tough task.

But he has Mike Garrett from Roosevelt High as No. 1, followed by Freeman McNeil from Banning at No. 2 and Charles White from San Fernando No. 3.

Garrett and White were Heisman Trophy winners at USC. McNeil went on to UCLA.
