Football: SoCal players at Washington get their chance to play USC

Washington hosts USC on Saturday, and it will be a big day for former Southern California high school products who didn’t necessarily get recruited by the Trojans.
Washington has made Southern California a key area for recruiting, and there will be lots of contributors on Saturday.
Running back Lavon Coleman is from Lompoc. Top receivers John Ross and Dante Pettis are from Long Beach Jordan and JSerra, respectively. Center Coleman Shelton is from Loyola.
Linebacker Keishawn Bierria is from Narbonne. Safety Jojo McIntosh is from Chaminade.
All have been starters this season.
