No quarter, so App is used for coin flip

Rotary telephones, typewriters and Polaroid cameras have disappeared. Maybe using a quarter for a coin flip before football games is next.
At the start of Saturday’s Conejo Valley passing tournament, Thousand Oaks Coach Mike Leibin couldn’t find any quarters, so he pulled out his smartphone, called up an app, pushed a button and held the coin flip.
“Even if it’s rigged, you still have a 50-50 shot at guessing right,” Leibin told the Village Christian captain.
The captain called tails and that’s what came up, though Leibin was having trouble figuring it out reading his phone.
Officials in the fall, if you forget to bring a quarter, there’s aways your smartphone available in an emergency to call up an app.
The future is now.
