Football: Marina ends 60-game Sunset League losing streak

The streak is over for Huntington Beach Marina.
After losing 60 consecutive Sunset League football games, Marina defeated Fountain Valley, 35-7, on Thursday night.
Marina is 4-6 overall and 1-4 in league.
The streak dates back to the 2004 season.
Ian Green had 186 yards yards passing and Cooper Malerstein rushed for 143 yards. Marina’s coach, Jeff Turley, used to be an assistant to Raul Lara at Long Beach Poly.
Fountain Valley dropped to 1-9 and 0-5.
