Football: Gardena Serra falls to Saguaro, 35-20, in Arizona

Gardena Serra started well but gave up the lead at the outset of the third quarter and was beaten by Saguero, 35-20, on Friday night in its football opener in Arizona.
Jalani Eason made his starting quarterback debut. He had a touchdown pass to Byran Addison in helping Serra take a 20-14 halftime lead.
John Jackson, a transfer from Mater Dei, also had a touchdown for the Cavaliers, who play Narbonne on Friday at El Camino College.
