Donald Gipson, a senior guard at Fairfax who Coach Harvey Kitani believes can be the top player in the City Section this season, has committed to Loyola Marymount.
Gipson injured his knee during a state playoff game last season, underwent surgery and has just been cleared by his doctor to begin running. He’s expected to be back at full strength for the season ahead.
Gipson is known for his shooting and tough defense.
