Football: Ben Kreitenberg ends career with record 237 conversion kicks
- Share via
The high school football career for Chaminade kicker Ben Kreitenberg ended on Friday, and what a legacy he established.
Kreitenberg finished with 237 successful conversion kicks in his career, setting a Southern Section record.
He fell short of the state record, which was 244 set by Kenny Smart of Modesto Central Catholic last year.
He has been Chaminade’s kicker since his freshman season and was aided by the Eagles playing 16 games last season and scoring points in bunches.
Chaminade will have to find a replacement in 2015.
