Branduinn Fullove: From basketball standout to cross country coach at Crespi
- Share via
During his basketball playing days at Simi Valley High, standout guard Branduinn Fullove remembers his coaches, Dean Bradshaw and Christian Aurand, telling him to get up early and run often.
He’s now the cross country coach at Crespi.
“I got some benefit,” he said.
Fullove’s mother, Marianne, is the cross country coach at Woodland Hills Louisville and his sister was a standout runner, so there’s cross country in the family.
Fullove, a former basketball standout at UC Santa Barbara, was pleased with his team’s performance on Saturday at the Ojai Invitational.
Athletic Director Russell White has been impressed.
“He’s doing a great job,” he said.
Fullove has been doing personal training and fitness. He’s still might coach basketball one day, but he’s enjoying cross country.
