Boys’ basketball: Lawndale hires Dave Miller to be its head coach

Lawndale has pulled off a coaching coup. The school announced on Wednesday that Dave Miller, who has coached at the collegiate and professional level and served as a Lakers analyst for Time Warner Cable, will be taking over as basketball coach.

Miller was best known as a college assistant at USC, Texas and Arizona State.

He’s a strong communicator and has run successful camps in recent years.
