Baseball: Mira Costa travels to Berkeley to win Boras Classic championship

Mira Costa has won the Boras Classic championship in baseball.
The Mustangs (23-5) traveled to Berkeley on Saturday and defeated Davis, 7-4, in the championship game at California.
Trevor Franklin pitched six innings to pick up the win. Andrew Arteaga contributed two hits and four RBIs. Blake Hammerstein added two hits and two RBIs.
Los Alamitos 7, Gahr 6: The Griffins (16-12) won the Redondo tournament championship. Josh Agnew threw five shutout innings. Scott Andersen had two hits and three RBIs. Kyle Mora added two hits.
Hart 1, Saugus 0: Brendan Henry and Jake Lewis combined on a three-hitter in the Foothill League victory.
Valencia 7, Golden Valley 3: Ben Fariss had a two-run single during a four-run sixth inning and Tyler Erne had four hits to lead Valencia, which clinched at least a share of the Foothill League championship. Fariss finished with three hits.
West Ranch 6, Canyon 1: Daniel Luevo had three RBIs and Cade Spurlin added two hits in the Foothill League win.
Culver City 5, Sierra Canyon 4: Culver City won in eight innings. Billy Edwards had three hits for Sierra Canyon.
Moorpark 6, Quartz Hill 3: Greg Dominguez and Jimmy Friery each had two hits.
Rancho Cucamonga 5, Etiwanda 1: Colton Combs finished with three hits to lead Rancho Cucamonga. Logan Rinehart struck out eight in six innings.
Burroughs 14, Hoover 0: Justin Palafox and Brandon Martinez each had three hits in the Pacific League game. Kyle Nicol struck out eight in five innings.
Einstein Academy 15, San Clarita Valley International 0: Sam Stulman struck out 13.
