Matt Cassin, the top returning hitter for Crespi, has transferred to City Section Division I champion El Camino Real.
Cassin, who will be a senior, hit .347 last season for the Celts. He can play in the outfield or infield.
He has a sister attending El Camino Real. Cassin is playing for El Camino Real this summer.
He was all-Mission League.
“He’s a huge transfer,” Coach Josh Lienhard. “He’s a left-handed bat with a good arm and can run.”
El Camino Real already returns the City Section co-players of the year in catcher Eric Yang and pitcher Jeremy Polon.
