Baseball: Kyle Smith pitches Torrance to 11-0 win in Division 4 final

It was the battle of Torrance on Saturday in Riverside for the Southern Section Division 4 baseball championship, and Kyle Smith made sure his team came out on top.
He threw a complete game, striking out 12 and walking none while allowing two hits in Torrance’s 11-0 victory over South Torrance.
In Division 5, sophomore Zachary Torra struck out six, walked none and threw a five-hitter to help Santa Ynez defeat Village Christian, 2-0.
In Division 6, A.J. Discenzo of Capistrano Valley Christian threw a no-hitter to lead his team past Sierra Canyon, 5-0.
