Baseball: Dana Hills gets top transfer to add to talented team
- Share via
Dana Hills, coming off a 26-8 season and with most of its top baseball players returning, is a candidate to be No. 1 in Southern California this season.
Adding to the intrigue is that junior catcher David Clawson has transferred in from Santa Ana Mater Dei. He’ll have to sit out the first month of the season, but once he becomes eligible, it will be hard to find too many weaknesses.
The pitching staff is led by the Crouse brothers, Marrick, a senior, and sophomore Hans. Marrick throws in the low 90s and is committed to San Francisco. Hans has hit 94 mph on the radar gun.
