Baseball: Area Code Games roster is released

The roster for the Milwaukee Brewers team made up of Southern California players has been released for the Area Code Games set for Aug. 4-11 in Long Beach.
It’s a who’s who of top players.
The pitchers include Kevin Gowdy of Santa Barbara, Hunter Greene of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, Reggie Lawson of Victor Valley, Hagen Danner and Nick Pratto of Huntington Beach, Hans Crouse of Dana Hills, Chris Lincoln of Rancho Verde, Nick Lodolo of Damien, Nolan Martinez of Culver City, Kyle Mora of Los Alamitos, Chris Murphy of Granada Hills and Sean Paquet of Servite.
The selection of infielder Logan Pouelsen gives Huntington Beach three players on the team.
Other top players include outfielder Blake Rutherford of Chaminade, shortstop Spencer Steer of LB Millikan, catcher Nick Kahle of Chaminade and shortstop Will Proctor of Mira Costa.
Greene, Pratto, Danner and Crouse are the only juniors on the team.
