Tiare Jennings of St. Anthony is Gatorade state player of the year in softball

Tiare Jennings of Long Beach St. Anthony has been named the Gatorade state player of the year in softball.
The senior shortstop is headed to Oklahoma and was batting .710 with six home runs when her season ended after eight games because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She has maintained a 4.25 grade-point average.
