How long could a Blake Griffin suspension last?

So when will Clippers fans see Blake Griffin back on the court?

The recovery time for a fracture of the fourth metacarpal is about four to six weeks, but there is no guarantee Griffin will see the court once healthy.

After full recovering from his injury, Griffin may face a suspension by the team or the NBA, pushing his return later into March.

Matt Barnes punches Derek Fisher

The former Clippers player got into a fight in October with New York Coach Derek Fisher because Fisher was dating Barnes’ ex-wife.

It took the NBA two months to conduct an investigation and ended with Barnes serving a two-game suspension.

Jahlil Okafor bar fight in Boston

In December the Philadelphia 76ers suspended star rookie center Jahlil Okafor for two games after a video showed details of a fight in Boston he hadn’t revealed to the team.

A man filed a report with Boston police saying he was punched and knocked to the ground outside a nightclub, authorities said. No charges have been announced.

Gerald Green throws punch, handcuffed by police

The Lakers get their first chance to face 76ers center Jahlil Okafor (8) after passing on him in the draft to select D’Angelo Russell on Nov. 29.

The Miami Heat guard was briefly held by Miami police for punching a man who was trying to restrain him in the lobby of his apartment building last November.

Police were initially called to the scene when Green was found in the lobby ‘unconscious and bleeding from his hands’, according to a police report. The victim of the punch did not want to press charges and no charges were filed.

Suspension: 2 games

Tony Allen gets into it with teammate

Memphis guard Tony Allen got into a confrontation with teammate Nick Calathese. While the incident never turned violent, according to the team, Allen had to be restrained by team officials and was sanctioned for repeatedly waving off attempts by assistant coaches to calm down.

Suspension: 1 game
