Reader Photo: A reminder of Ireland in Griffith Park
- Share via
Brendan Holmes captured this photo last month while on a hike in Griffith Park, after noticing that the landscape was particularly green.
It reminded him of Ireland, his home country.
“I had always thought that in springtime the park took on a different perspective -- the surrounding vegetation comes alive,” he said. “The sun beats down on the park for the rest of the year, turning the park back into a brown, dry habitat.”
Holmes used a Canon 5D Mark II with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to take this image on April 12.
