Woman shot and wounded in suspected Hollywood robbery, LAPD says

A woman was shot and wounded in a suspected robbery in Hollywood, police said Monday night.
The woman was shot about 10:20 p.m. on North Curson Avenue near Fountain Avenue near the border with West Hollywood, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The woman was believed to be in her 20s and was reportedly in stable condition, the LAPD said. The suspect fled.
Late Monday, officers were swarming the area and looking for the attacker. A police helicopter circled overhead.
