Detectives investigate ‘suspicious’ death of Victorville mother

Detectives are investigating the death of 20-year-old woman who was found inside her Victorville apartment Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies went to the apartment about 2:04 p.m. when they received a report of an “unknown type of problem.”
They found Sofia Adams dead inside.
Authorities say Adams’ death is “suspicious” and homicide detectives are investigating.
Family members told KABC-TV that Adams lived at the apartment with her 3-year-old son and was planning to move out because of a neighbor and an ongoing fight over a parking spot.
But San Bernardino County sheriff’s detectives said Wednesday that they “have found no evidence to support a rumor” that her death resulted from such a dispute.
