Deaths of two hikers on Mt. Tamalpais ruled unrelated and accidental

Two women whose bodies were found within five days of each other on Mt. Tamalpais died accidentally in unrelated incidents, Marin County sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.
Magdalena Glinkowski, who was found April 12, died of exposure from hypothermia, coroner’s officials said. She was unfamiliar with the area and unprepared for a long, individual hike, they added.
Marie Sanner, whose body was found April 17, died of blunt impact injuries to her head, which were caused by falling off the trail, coroners officials said. An investigation found she had a blood alcohol content of 0.12%.
Both women died independently of each other, and no foul play is suspected in either death.
