A high school track and field coach has been arrested in Laguna Niguel on suspicion of possessing child pornography, authorities said Saturday.
Raymond W. Henry II, 57, a coach at Trabuco Hills High School, was booked into the Orange County Jail on Friday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. He is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Investigators said they arrested Henry after an iPad containing photos of naked females ages 11 to 13 was found in a rental car after it was returned to the rental agency.
In addition to the photos of the naked girls, there were pictures of minor females engaged in track and field activities while wearing Trabuco Hlls High uniforms, according to authorities.
Deputies said the iPad was reported to the sheriff’s department by an informant at the car rental agency.
Henry is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
The Orange County Child Exploitation Task Force and the sheriff’s Special Victims Unit are investigating the matter. Anyone with information related to the case is asked to call (714) 647-7060.
