SWAT team trying to talk to barricaded suspect in Huntington Beach

Authorities said a SWAT team was deployed in Huntington Beach on Monday after police were unable to communicate with a barricaded person who may be armed.
The incident began about 3 p.m. on Alabama Street south of Indianapolis Avenue, the Huntington Beach Police Department said.
Some homes and apartments in the immediate area were evacuated.
Other evacuations in the 600 block of Lake Street and in the area of Alabama Street and Indianapolis Avenue were also ordered.
Indianapolis Avenue is closed from Lake Street to Delaware Street and Alabama Street is closed from Indianapolis Avenue to Hartford Avenue.
