Manhattan beach body: Cause of death remains undetermined

It remained unclear Wednesday how a 21-year-old man whose body was found in a Manhattan Beach park died, officials said.
Although an autopsy was conducted on the body of Mario Herrera of Long Beach, the cause of death was still undetermined, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday in a statement.
Herrera’s body was found about 3:30 p.m. Thursday near a baseball diamond in the 1500 block of North Peck Avenue.
City workers discovered the victim’s body wrapped in a bag while they were moving a pile of dirt, authorities said last week.
Detectives were continuing their investigation.
