The Queen Mary 2 dwarfs the Los Angeles Maratime Museum as it backs into the harbor at the Port of Los Angeles. The giant ship will remain in San Pedro until departing for a cruise Thursday when it will pass the original Queen Mary in Long Beach. (Bob Chamberline / LAT)
