Agencia Reforma — Lewis Hamilton se llevó la victoria del GP de México e impidió la coronación de Nico Rosberg en la Fórmula Uno.
El tricampeón mundial de la escudería Mercedes dominó prácticamente de punta a punta en el Hermanos Rodríguez para llevarse su triunfo 51 y octavo de la campaña.
Arrancando desde “pole”, Hamilton se llevó por primera vez la victoria en México y se convirtió en el tercer británico en ganar en el País, después de Jim Clark y Nigel Mansell.

Hamilton igualó en banderas a cuadros al francés Alain Prost como el segundo más ganador en la historia. Sólo el alemán Michael Schumacher los supera, con 91 victorias.

“Estos son los mejores aficionados del mundo. El estadio ayuda pero la pasión que tienen es increíble... Podría comer siempre tacos”, dijo Hamilton en el podio del Foro Sol.
Con esta triunfo, Lewis se acerca a su coequipero, Nico Rosberg por la pelea del Campeonato de Pilotos a 19 puntos (349 por 330), pues el alemán llegó segundo en el trazado de la Magdalena Mixhuca.
El tercero en curzar la meta fue el holandés de Red Bull, Max Verstappen, sin embargo una sanción de 5 segundos le impidió subir al podio y ese puesto fue para el Ferrari de Sebastian Vettel.
Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez, de Force India, llegó a colocarse en el quinto puesto durante las primeras 20 vueltas, cuando algunos de sus rivales que iban adelante entraron a los pits. Rodó en décimo durante gran parte de la carrera y finalizó en ese puesto.
Pérez, quien arrancó desde la posición 12, intentó en varias ocasiones, pero no pudo rebasar al brasileño Felipe Massa, de Williams.
El otro piloto tricolor en la contienda, Esteban Gutiérrez, terminó en el puesto 19.
A la campaña de este año le restan el GP de Brasil (13 de noviembre) y Abu Dhabi (27 de noviembre).
