Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco announces new schedule for “Libre” tour

Miami, Nov 14 (EFE). — Peruvian singersongwriter Gian Marco has announced a new schedule for his “Libre” tour which will now include U.S. and European cities early in 2016.
According to his representatives in Miami, the composer will perform starting February in the U.S. cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington, New Jersey and Miami, and in March will move on to Europe to appear in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Geneva, Rome, Milan and Hamburg.
Winner of three Latin Grammys, Gian Marco this year published the album “Libre,” his 14th musical work and the “most personal and daring of his career,” according to his representatives, who also noted that this was the first time the artist took responsibility for the concept of the recording and served as creative director and executive producer.
Gian Marco took to the road with his new album, which includes 10 unpublished numbers plus the greatest hits from his 20year career, on a tour developed on stages in Mexico and Peru.
The launch of “Libre,” which breaks a fouryear recording silence, has won the Peruvian two nominations for the 2015 Latin Grammy Awards, to be held Nov. 19 in Las Vegas. “Vida de mi Vida” will vie for Song of the Year, while “Libre” is in the running for Best SingerSongwriter Album.
