Lily Collins is more than a beauty icon who’s known for her full Brooke Shields-like eyebrows. As daughter of Genesis drummer Phil Collins, Lily took an interest in journalism along with acting at a young age. While still a teen, Lily wrote a column dubbed “NY Confidential” for Elle Girl. She later studied broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California and became a Nickelodeon television correspondent. Major fashion designer Stella McCartney didn’t need to lean on her father’s Beatles fame to make a name for herself. At 16, she interned with French fashion designer Christian Lacroix and went on to study fashion design in London, where her graduation fashion collection was modeled by her friends/uber supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. Within years Stella became chief designer of French line Chloe and then launched her own label, a balance of feminine elements with rocker accents that her fashion fans have come to love her for.
