Kanye West will broadcast Yeezy Season Two fashion show in theaters

Just in the last few months, Kanye’s gone from wilding all over FYF to running for president at the VMAs; from “808s” at the Bowl to, now, a theater near you.
The rapper/pop culture lodestar has announced Yeezy Season Two, a followup to the first installment of his eponymous fashion line in collaboration with Adidas.
The show will be live-streamed to movie theaters Wednesday (hitting Los Angeles and other cities worldwide all at once). It follows last year’s debut of his Yeezy collection, where the very meme-able Yeezy 750 Boost shoe also made its first appearance on the big screen.

The collection, though anemically received in high fashion circles, did mark his debut as a New York Fashion Week fixture on the runway, and fulfilled a longtime goal of the MC to transition more fully into design. The sudden announcement of Season 2 has thrown some confusion into the scheduling at NYFW, as it will certainly be one of the most celebrity-packed events of the week.
For fans of his music, the last live-broadcast set also included the debut of a new single, the Sia and Vic Mensa-featuring “Wolves,” and given the wide scope of his output lately, it wouldn’t be surprising if new material popped up here as well.
