Randy Newman

We can’t imagine who could be too upset to talk about: Randy Newman‘s “Harps & Angels.”

The album’s not even out yet, and he’s already apologizing for “Korean Parents,” a song with lyrics like “Korean parents for sale / You say you need a little discipline / Someone to whip you into shape / They’ll be strict but they’ll be fair.” I’ve got Asian folks, and I’m laughing.

Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera

We’re not sure if anyone will talk about: ” The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.”

Sure, this sequel’s stars the leading ladies of “ Ugly Betty” and “ Gossip Girl,” as well as former TV darlings Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn. But it’s also got this for a plotline: “Lifelong friends embark on separate paths for their first year of college and the summer beyond, but remain in touch by sharing their experiences with each other as they always have -- with honesty and humor.”
