The Los Angeles Black Book Expo, founded in 2004, offers community and exposure for those working in the independent African and African American press. This year’s literary celebration will feature author and speaker Jewel Diamond Taylor, actress and writer Cherie Johnson, jazz artist Russel Blake, and the bestselling writer J.M.
