And not just any song, Miranda created a new version of the “Cantina Song.”
While making an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” Abrams spilled the beans that after he met the creator of the Broadway musical sensation “Hamilton,” the two collaborated on a new “Star Wars” song. The full clip is above.

Miranda was already working with Disney on the animated feature “Moana” but this bit of news was top secret, until now.
But even more exciting than a Miranda song in a new “Star Wars” movie is the mixing of Broadway fans and “Star Wars” fans into one, rabid fan base. Just imagine, piano bars across New York City belting out “Staaaaaar Waaaaars” tunes. The whole world is about to know the power of the showtune.
