Oklahoma City Thunder forward and reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant has put a penthouse apartment in Miami on the market for $3.45 million.
Recently completed, the three-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom unit is highlighted by designer appointments, a large outdoor terrace, smart-home systems and a private elevator. Walls of floor-to-ceiling glass take in expansive views of Biscayne Bay.
Within the 3,793 square feet of space is a kitchen with breakfast bar and tiled backsplash, open-area living and dining rooms and a home theater. A tiled wall fireplace anchors the free-flowing floor plan.
The property was purchased in 2011 for $1.825 million through a limited-liability company associated with the basketball star, records show. Ben Moss of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
In March, Durant, six times an all-star, was sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an ailing right foot. The 26-year-old holds averages of 25.4 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game in 27 contests this season.
