Warriors great Chris Mullin asks $1.55 million for Coronado condo

Hall of Fame basketball player Chris Mullin has put his condominium in Coronado up for sale at $1.55 million.

The 1,400-square-foot, corner-terrace unit features an open floor plan with ocean views and 400 square feet of patio space. The layout includes a breakfast nook, a dining room, a main living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Mullin, 51, played 16 seasons for Golden State and Indiana, making five NBA All-Star teams, and was the Warriors’ executive vice president of basketball operations from 2004-09. A member of the original “Dream Team,” he twice won Olympic gold medals (1992, 1996).

The property was offered last year at $1.525 million. Records show that the retired guard-forward and his wife purchased the condo in September 2006 for $1.5 million. The couple also maintains a home in Danville, Calif.

Mullin is among a number of 1992 Dream Team members with properties currently for sale. In Fort Lauderdale, Fla., former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen currently asks $11.8 million for his waterfront home. “The Admiral,” David Robinson, continues to shop his San Antonio home, complete with a Spurs-branded basketball court, at $3.575 million. Over in Highland Park, Ill., the longtime personal residence of Michael Jordan, which failed to sell at auction last year, lists for $16 million.
