Allan Metzger, a longtime physician of singer Michael Jackson, has sold his Sherman Oaks home for $2.6 million.
Set behind hedges and a gate, the Midcentury Modern-style house, built in 1959, had been renovated to an open-concept design with high-end finishes throughout.
Beyond the terrazzo-floored entry are a step-down living room with a fireplace, a wet bar, a home office, an updated kitchen with concrete floors and stainless-steel appliances, five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The nearly half-acre property has a swimming pool, an outdoor shower and 180-degree views of the surrounding mountains and cityscape.
Metzger was among those to testify at the 2011 criminal trial of Dr. Conrad Murray following Jackson’s death. Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Metzger bought the property in 2006 for $2.49 million, public records show.
Marc J. Robinson of Keller Williams handled the transaction.
