National Book Award 2015 fiction longlist announced

The National Book Foundation concluded the longlist announcements for its 2015 prizes with the Thursday release of the 10 books in the running for the National Book Award in fiction.

The list includes Pulitzer Prize-winner Adam Johnson, National Book Critics Circle Award-winner Edith Pearlman and two debut novelists: Bill Clegg and Angela Flournoy.

The shortlist for the awards is to be announced Oct. 17 and the winners announced at a gala in New York on Nov. 18.
