Hellboy creator Mike Mignola is drawn back
- Share via
Most of the comic-book heroes who have starred in multi-film franchises were created in the 1930s (Superman, Batman) or 1960s (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Fantastic Four) but not Hellboy — Mike Mignola’s devilish brainchild celebrates just his 17th birthday this year, and he got his start as a sketch Mignola did at Comic-Con that nagged at his imagination. Now, after a two-year hiatus as artist, Mignola is going back to the drawing desk. He’ll reveal his reasons why at Comic-Con on Saturday.
